How do I request a sign?
Once you have an active listing, visit For Rent Signs under your account dashboard, or check the sign add-on when activating a new listing. Fill in your delivery details and submit the form.
Is the sign really free?
Yes — one sign per listing at no cost. Delivery and installation (where applicable) are also free.
Can I get more than one sign per listing?
One sign is included free with each active listing. Contact us if you need additional signs for the same property.
Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Delivery normally takes 2–3 business days after your request is confirmed.
Can I have it delivered to a different address than my listing?
Yes. During the sign request you can uncheck “Same as building address” and enter any delivery address within a supported city.
What if nobody is home at delivery time?
The sign can be left outside or at a reception desk or office. Please add delivery instructions in the notes field when submitting your request so the courier knows where to leave it.
Can I change the delivery address after submitting?
Contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to update the address before the sign ships.
Installation (Calgary only)
What does “installed on property” mean?
In Calgary, we will professionally install the sign in the ground at the front of your property in a visible location — no action required from you beyond submitting the request.
Where exactly will the sign be placed?
The sign will be placed near the front of the property in a visible spot close to the street. If you have specific placement requirements, add them in the delivery instructions field when submitting your request.
How will I know when it’s installed?
We will contact you to confirm once the sign has been installed.
I’m outside Calgary — can I still get a sign installed?
Professional installation is currently available in Calgary only. All other supported cities receive delivery only.
Wire Stand
What is a wire stand?
A wire stand is a metal H-frame that holds the sign upright in grass or soft ground — similar to a lawn sign holder. It lets you position the sign anywhere without needing to attach it to a wall or fence.
Do I need one?
If your property has a lawn or grassy area, a wire stand is a convenient way to display the sign. If the sign will lean against a wall, fence, or window it may not be necessary.
Is the wire stand free?
Yes — the wire stand is included at no extra charge when selected with your sign request.
After Delivery
What do I do with the sign when my unit is rented or my listing expires?
Please remove the sign from the property once the unit is no longer available. You are welcome to hold onto it for a future RentFaster.ca listing at the same address.
Can I reuse the sign for a future listing?
The QR code on the sign is linked to a specific listing. When you activate a new listing, submit a new sign request and a fresh sign will be sent.
Contact us as soon as possible. If the sign has not yet shipped we can cancel the request. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.
What if my listing is deactivated before the sign arrives?
The sign will still be delivered. You can hold onto it and reuse it if you reactivate the same listing, or store it for a future listing at the same property.
